Large Group Activity: Create a Burger 🍔
Today during large group, our children engaged in a hands-on learning activity called “Create a Burger.” This interactive experience encouraged the children to build a burger by placing each ingredient in the correct order.
Using visual guide cards, the children identified where each item belonged, including the bun, beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. They carefully followed the sequence shown, placing each piece step-by-step to complete their burger.
This activity supported key areas of development, including cognitive thinking, problem-solving, and visual matching skills. The children were encouraged to think independently, follow directions, and use critical thinking as they worked through the sequencing process.
At Beautiful Blessings Child Care, we are committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that combine fun with skill-building, helping our children grow in confidence, focus, and independence each day.

Learning Activity: Color Matching on the Palette 🎨
During learning time today, our children participated in a hands-on color matching activity using art palettes and clothespin clips. Each clothespin was labeled with a specific color, and the children were encouraged to identify the color and match it to the corresponding spot on the palette.
As they worked through the activity, the children practiced naming colors such as red, blue, yellow, and more, then used their clothespins to clip onto the matching color. This required them to carefully open and close the clips, strengthening their fine motor skills and hand coordination.
This activity supported several areas of development:
At Beautiful Blessings Child Care, we continue to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences that support both academic growth and developmental skills in a fun and meaningful way.

Today during reading time, we read Keisha Ann Can, a story that focuses on making positive choices throughout the day. The book followed a young girl as she demonstrated kindness, responsibility, and good behavior in her school environment. This activity encouraged our children to understand that just like Keisha, they are capable of making good choices and being successful throughout their day. Through this reading, we supported social-emotional development, reinforced positive behavior, and built confidence by showing each child that “I can do it too.”

Today during learning time, the children worked on a game called “Unlock It.” Each child counted the number of stars on a lock, then matched that number to the correct key. Once they found the matching number, they used their fine motor skills to unlock the lock.
This activity supported counting skills, number recognition, fine motor development, and problem-solving skills. The children were engaged and enjoyed the challenge of matching and unlocking.
